The Top 100, Top 50 and Top 15 course lists are Hip.Golf's own selection, based on how highly courses are regarded across many published rankings. They are not any publication's list, and no publication is connected with them or endorses them.
Maps, course locations and hole layouts use data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Map tiles come from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, place searches from Nominatim, and hole layouts from the Overpass API.
Weather data is by Open-Meteo.com, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
The "golfers who play off it" comparisons use published statistics from Break X Golf, Shot Scope and Golf Insider UK. Penalties per round are an estimate of ours.
Handicaps in Hip.Golf are worked out in the style of the World Handicap System. They are estimates, not an official handicap from a golf union, and Hip.Golf is not connected with the USGA, The R&A or any union.
