Delete your account
You can delete your Hip.Golf account, and everything in it, at any time. There are two ways.
In the app (instant)
- Open Hip.Golf and sign in.
- Tap your photo or initial at the top of Home to open your profile.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom, and confirm.
By email (if you no longer have the app)
Email us from the address you signed up with, and your account will be deleted within 7 days. You'll get a reply when it's done.

Nobody from Hip.Golf will ever ask for your password. If you can't send from the account's address, say so in the email and we'll find another way to confirm it's you.
What is deleted
- Your account, email address and password
- Your profile: name, photo, handicap, club distances and friend code
- Every round, hole score, statistic and round photo
- Your connections, group memberships, competition entries, likes, comments, round messages, challenges and notifications
Past competition results stop listing you. This can't be undone. You can export your rounds as a CSV file from the app first (Rounds → Export).
What may remain
- Reports you sent are kept without your name. Reports about you are deleted.
- Our hosting providers' routine backups are overwritten within 30 days.
